MAN'S BASIC PROBLEM:
SIN AND SEPARATION FROM GOD
The first man chose to disobey God by doing his own will rather than God’s. Every person has been making the same choice ever since. This is called sin and results in death (separation from God).
“For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”

“For the wages of sin is death (separation from God) . . .”

GOD'S ONLY REMEDY:
THE CROSS AND RECONCILIATION
Jesus Christ is God’s only solution to man’s sin problem. He died to pay the penalty for our sin and rose again so that we might be forgiven and experience God’s plan of peace and life.
“Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life,
no man comes to the Father but by Me.”
John 14:6
“But God commends His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

MAN'S REQUIRED RESPONSE:
REPENT AND BELIEVE THE GOSPEL
We must repent and trust in what the Lord Jesus Christ did on the cross. He shed His blood for the forgiveness of our sin and rose again. We must ask Him to save us and receive salvation as His gift.
“that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart
that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with
the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
Rom.10:9,10

“But as many as received Him, to them He gave power
to become the sons of God, even to them that

If you would like to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, then you may pray this suggested prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying for me. I know I am a sinner but I believe you died to pay the penalty for my sins. I believe that you were buried and then rose from the grave three days later. I repent of my sin and receive you Lord Jesus as my Savior. Come into my life and make me the kind of person you want me to be. Thank you for saving me. Amen.
